"I was really hopeful to replace the Starbucks PSL in my life without having to make pumpkin syrup at home. Unfortunately this doesn’t do it. As other reviewers mention, it has a noticeable citrus flavor to it that doesn’t seem to “go” with the pumpkin. I’m guessing it acts as a preservative? In my opinion, adding additional sweetener (specifically vanilla syrup or white chocolate) helps blend the flavors, but if you were hoping this would help reduce the amount of sugar in a PSL, that doesn’t work. Also, it becomes a little complicated for something to do very often. I’ve been happy with most Monin purchases, so I guess I was due for a miss …"

"This is so good! A perfect balance of spice and sweet. I love to use it to make the most delicious pumpkin cold foam! It is thicker than a syrup but it blends nicely, so you can also use it in coffee without it changing the consistency of your coffee. This is a fall staple for me."
