Brown butter taste lacks

"Unfortunately, this syrup did not do it for me. There is a bit of an odd aftertaste, and it reminds me of those yellow butterscotch hard candies more than it does brown butter. I felt that it lacked some of the nuttiness that brown butter has and was artificial-tasting. It is not terrible, but I do wish I had tried out a different flavor."

Tastes fake

"I’ve tried a bunch of other syrups which I love, I was so excited for brown butter toffee for fall but this one is a miss for me. It has a weird aftertaste which I really don’t like. It almost tastes like old oil. This one isn’t for me. Hopefully one of the other toffee flavors is more to my taste."
