Cranberry Blueberry Compote

Ingredients

  • 1-pint blueberries
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 orange, zested and juiced
  • 1/2 cup Monin Cranberry Syrup
  • Pinch of salt

Glass: Culinary

Glass Size: 1 pint.

Instructions

      1. In a small saucepot set over medium heat, combine all ingredients except for the Monin® syrup.
      2. Simmer blueberries until most of the liquid is reduced (about 12–15 minutes).
      3. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature, then add the syrup and mix until well combined.
      4. Place into a container, cover tightly, and refrigerate until use.
