
Cranberry Blueberry Compote
Ingredients
- 1-pint blueberries
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 orange, zested and juiced
- 1/2 cup Monin Cranberry Syrup
- Pinch of salt
Glass: Culinary
Glass Size: 1 pint.
Instructions
- In a small saucepot set over medium heat, combine all ingredients except for the Monin® syrup.
- Simmer blueberries until most of the liquid is reduced (about 12–15 minutes).
- Remove from heat and cool to room temperature, then add the syrup and mix until well combined.
- Place into a container, cover tightly, and refrigerate until use.
