Savory Brown Butter Waffle
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 cup Monin Brown Butter Syrup
- 4 Tbsp. milk powder
- 3 eggs
- 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
- 2 Tbsp. chives
- 1 tsp. garlic powder

Glass Size: 6 waffles.
Instructions
- Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturers instructions.
- In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
- In another bowl beat together the syrup and the milk powder. Add remaining ingredients except the cheese, chives, and garlic powder and whisk until combined.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir just until combined then fold in the cheese, chives, and garlic. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.
- Spray the waffle iron with vegetable spray and ladle the batter onto the center of the iron. Cook until both sides are crispy.
- Serve immediately or keep warm in a 200° F oven until ready to serve.
