Peppermint Chip Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1-pint heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Monin Peppermint Syrup
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 pinch salt

Glass Size: 1 quart.

Instructions

      1. Combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl (except for the chocolate chips) and whisk until fully incorporated.
      2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and process according to manufacturers directions.
      3. When the ice cream begins to thicken, slowly add the chocolate chips while the ice cream is still churning.
      4. Once finished, transfer to another container and store in the freezer for at least 2 hours or preferably over night.
      5. Serve immediately or store in a tightly sealed container in the freezer.
