Fine Strain for Ultimate Consistency
For recipes containing muddled fruits or herbs, sometimes it is best to fine strain the beverage in addition to using a traditional (Hawthorne) style cocktail strainer. Filtering through a fine-mesh sieve will eliminate all fruit particles, seeds, pulp or leaves allowing for a visually appealing beverage free of any unpleasant textures.
SHORT TIP
Use the back of a spoon to help press liquid through mesh when working with especially thick mixtures.
