Autumn Frost Cocktail

Cinnamon sticks, anise stars and slices of dried citrus
As the cool winds and changing leaves add their exclamation to the long goodbye to summer, I’m reminded of all the opportunities and flavors that fall and the inevitable winter months present. This cocktail represents two of my favorite flavors for this time of year, cinnamon and orange. The warm spices of Chai and the aroma of cinnamon add a pleasing contrast to the tartness of orange. Autumn Frost Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. mandarin orange blossom vodka
  • 1.5 oz. Chai Tea Concentrate
  • 0.5 oz. Cinnamon Syrup
  • 0.25 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 dash(es) bitters

Garnish: Orange peel , Mint sprig

Instructions

  1. Chill serving glass.
  2. Pour ingredients into mixing glass with 2/3 ice in order listed.
  3. Cap, shake and strain into chilled serving glass.
  4. Add garnish and serve.
