Hibiscus Pickled Onions

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup MoninĀ® Monin Hibiscus Syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 red onion - thinly sliced

Instructions

      1. In a mixing bowl. combine the apple cider vinegar, warm water, hibiscus syrup, and salt and whisk until combined and the salt is fully dissolved.
      2. Add the thinly sliced red onions to the vinegar mixture.
      3. Let the onions soak for at least one hour and up to 24 hours before serving.
      4. Store under refrigeration for up to a week.
