Cranberry Blueberry Compote

Ingredients

  • 1 - pint blueberries
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 orange - zested and juiced
  • 1/2 cup Monin Monin Cranberry Syrup
  • Pinch of salt

Glass Size: 16.0.

Instructions

      1. In a small saucepot set over medium heat combine all ingredients except for the MoninĀ® syrup.
      2. Simmer blueberries until most of the liquid is reduced (about 12-15 minutes).
      3. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature, then add the syrup and mix until well combined.
      4. Place into a container, cover tightly and refrigerate until use.
