Cinnamon Bun Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup Monin Cinnamon Bun Syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • A pinch of salt

Glass Size: 20 cookies.

Instructions

      1. Preheat oven to 375° and line two sheet pans with parchment paper or silk pads.
      2. In the bowl of a stand mixer equipped with the paddle attachment, cream together butter and sugars on medium-high speed.
      3. When light and fluffy, mix in the egg and the syrup on low speed until fully incorporated.​
      4. In a separate bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet until just fully mixed.
      5. Place in the fridge and allow to firm up for about an hour. Scoop the dough out into 1-inch scoops and place on a baking sheet with 2 inches of space in between.
      6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown at the bottom.
      7. Remove from oven and allow to completely cool before serving.
