Caramel Apple Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. (1 stick) butter - softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Monin Monin Caramel Apple Butter Syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/4 cups all - purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

      1. Preheat oven to 350º F. and prepare a sheet pan with parchment paper.
      2. Using an electric mixer, beat together the butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
      3. Add the caramel apple butter syrup and beat until well combined.
      4. Add the egg and beat until well combined.
      5. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, milk powder, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
      6. Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and beat gently until the ingredients just come together and are well combined.
      7. Using a 1-ounce scoop, place the cookie dough onto parchment paper lined baking sheets with roughly 2 inches between.
      8. Bake for 8 – 10 minutes, until the edges are slightly browned.
      9. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
